MatthewE. Poynter  is currently working as the Associate Professor, Vermont Lung Center, University of Vermont, Burlington, USA from  2002-2003: Research Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Vermont, from 2003-2009: Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Vermont, from 2009 - present: Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, University of Vermont, 2011 - present: Associate Director, Vermont Lung Center, University of Vermont. His research intrest is in the fields of Pulmonary Medicine, Adaptive immunity, Macrophages, pulmonary infectious disease. He has published many articles in the reputed journals.
