Biography
Matthew O. Howard, Ph.D., Daniels Distinguished Professor at the School of Social Work at UNC-Chapel Hill has published more than 200 articles in the mental health and substance abuse areas. His three grants from the National Institute on Drug Abuse have focused on neuropsychiatric impairments in adolescent and adult volatile solvent and MDMA users. He currently serves as Editor-in-Chief of Social Work Research, was recently appointed North American Editor of the British Journal of Social Work, and was formerly editor of the Journal of Social Services Research.
