Biography
Dr. Mateen Abbas, is Assistant Professor, Department of Toxicology, Quality Operations Laboratory, University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Lahore, Pakistan holds M.Sc and Ph.D degree in Chemistry. He is also a Hafiz-i-Quran. He conducted his Ph.D degree from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad and published two research papers from that research. Dr. Mateen’s fundamental expertise is in the field of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Mycotoxin analysis in Food & Feed and Analytical techniques especially HPLC, GC, Atomic Absorption etc. He has also obtained different trainings on Instrumentations and ISO 17025 Assessor training. Dr. Mateen has 11 research papers and 16 conference proceedings. He presented research findings in 8 national and International conferences/symposia.
Research Interest
Analytical Techniques especially Chromatography (HPLC, GC, GCMS, LCMS) Pharmaceutical drugs, Pesticides and Mycotoxin residue testing in Foods (Milk and Meat) of Animal Origin and Feed. Method development and Validation Pharmacokinetics and Bioequivalence study in human and animals Determination of Pharmaceutical drugs in Human Blood and other biological fluids Organic acids, Phenolic acids, Flavonols and Vitamins estimation
