Biography

Mary Jane C. Cruz completed her MS Pharmacy in 1995 at Centro Escolar University, Manila (CEU) and is currently pursuing her Ph. D in Pharmacy also at CEU. She is teaching both in undergraduate and graduate studies at the School of Pharmacy of the said university. A reviewer for the Pharmacy Board Licensure Examination, a contributor on Pharmacy (PACOP) Reviewer used in the Philippines for two (2) subjects such as Pharmaceutical Law and Ethics and Pharmaceutical Calculations, a member of the CEU-University Research Committee (URC), a panel of Examiner and an Adviser in Research, co-authored four (4) manuals, co-author of Pharmaceutical Jurisprudence and Ethics book and lead author of Pharmaceutical Care 1. She is also the lead researcher of CEU-School of Pharmacy. Have completed 5 researches and presented it both in oral and paper presentations. Some of the research that she presented includes : " Drug Utilization and Compliance Among the Elderly : Basis for Pharmacist Intervention" (2009) and " Determination of the Anti-Inflammatory, Analgesic and Diuretic Activities of the One Hundred Selected Plants from Mt. Dau, Laiya, San Juan, Batangas" (2000-2007).
