Biography
Martin Filion practices in Quebec, Canada. Dr. Filion is highly rated in 1 condition, according to our data. His top area of expertise is Scabies. His clinical research consists of co-authoring 51 peer reviewed articles in the past 15 years.
Research Interest
His research interest lies in the field of molecular plant/microbe and microbe/microbe interactions occurring in the rhizosphere of plants. Among the different projects conducted by my research team, some target bacterial strains that have the genetic potential to be used as biocontrol agents against plant pathogens. We are also interested by the general impact that rhizosphere-inhabiting microorganisms may have on the growth, physiology and survival of plants. Finally, other related projects investigate, using various culture-independent molecular tools, the microbial diversity found in the rhizosphere of different plant species. Most of these projects are conducted to address ecological and functional relevant questions.
