Biography
Marion Scher is an award-winning journalist, lecturer, media trainer and consultant at Media Mentors, Johannesburg Area, South Africa.She finished her education in University of Reading from 1968 – 1971. Marion is also constantly rated as the top speaker at Conferences where she talks and gives workshops as well as acting as MC or facilitator. She is the author of two books; her latest came out in 2009 - Surviving the SA Media - Building Bridges To Make The Media. She is the holder of a Rosalynn Carter Fellowship for Mental Health Journalism and is currently on the Board of this Fellowship in South Africa.
Research Interest
Radio and television, working in research, production and the presentation field and in mental health writing.
