 Maria worked for August 2007 to July 2012 Responsible of the National Reference Centre of Toxoplasmosis (Ce.Tox.) at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale of Sicily “A. Mirri” Palermo Via G. Marinuzzi 3 , 90129 Palermo. Dates (from to) From 21st May 2007 to 20th August 2007 Marie Curie Fellowship for senior researcher) on European project Adipar (ADVANCE DIAGNOSTIC In Parasitology) in Varsaw .n the field of molecular diagnosis of zoonotic diseases, molecular epidemiology, involvement in diagnosis aspect of BSE emergence and Blue tongue virus emergence. Set-up of molecular methods for diagnosis of different zoonotc disease (leptospirosis, leishmaniosis, brucellosis, Toxoplasmosis etc. ) and genetic selection plan for Scrapie resistance. The management of diagnostic activity with large number of samples to be processed soon.
