Biography
He is awarded PhD in An Exercise in Cartography – (Evaluation of Resource Atlases and their Application to District Planning) from Deemed University in the year 1994. He holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Geography from Madras University, India in the year 1979, followed by a Certification in Computer Programming from Anna University, India in the year 1980. He has extended his valuable service as a Senior Cartographer at Department of Geography from 1980-1982, Lecturer in Cartography at Gandhigram Rural Institute from 1983-1991, Senior Lecturer in Cartography at Gandhigram Rural Institute, Reader at Gandhigram Rural Institute since 1997, and Professor at Gandhigram Rural Institute since 2005. He has been a recipient of many award and grants. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests as a Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
