Mark L. Ruffalo, M.S.W., A.C.S.W., L.C.S.W., is a psychotherapist in private practice in Tampa, FL, and an affiliate assistant professor at the University of South Florida Department of Psychiatry. He received his bachelor's degree in psychology and master's degree in psychiatric social work from the University of Pittsburgh, and completed his internship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He completed additional postgraduate training at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. He is a member of the American Association for Psychoanalysis in Clinical Social Work and currently serves as membership chair of the Academy for the Psychoanalytic Arts. He is licensed to practice psychotherapy in the States of Florida and North Carolina.
