Liaquat Ali

Biography

Dr. Liaquat Ali is a Medical Graduate from University of Dhaka and completed his PhD, in 1990, from University of Uppsala, Sweden. Liaquat Ali served as a Professor of Biochemistry & Cell Biology in BIRDEM, Dhaka during 1991-2007 and is presently the Vice-Chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Health Sciences. Liaquat Ali has published nearly 100 papers in peer reviewed journals. For his works, Liaquat Ali has received awards from many organizations including Bangladesh Academy of Sciences, Indian Public Health Association and Islamic World Academy of Sciences.
