Biography
Prof. John Donnie A. Ramos was a recipient of the Prize for Young Scientist in the Philippines from The World Academy of Sciences  in 2010, and the Outstanding Young Scientist Award in Molecular Biology/ Immunology from the National Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) in 2005. Dr. Ramos was appointed for two terms as the dean of the University of Santo Tomas College of Science from 2013-2019.  He was elected as the president Biology Teachers Association (BIOTA) of the Philippines (2019-2021), and the president of the Philippine Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (PSBMB) from 2014-2015
