Guilherme Polanczyk
Biography
Guilherme Polanczyk holds a degree in Medicine from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2002), Residency in Psychiatry (2005) and Psychiatry of Childhood and Adolescence (2007) by the Hospital de Clínicas de Porto Alegre, Master (2005) and Doctorate (2008) in Psychiatry at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Post-Doctorate at the Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience at King's College London (2008) and Duke University, USA (2008-9), Free Teaching in Childhood and Adolescence Psychiatry Of São Paulo (2016). He is a Ph.D. Professor of Childhood and Adolescent Psychiatry, Department of Psychiatry, School of Medicine, University of São Paulo (FMUSP) and Permanent Advisor of the Postgraduate Program in Psychiatry at FMUSP. He coordinates the Nucleus of Research in Neurodevelopment and Mental Health of USP. He is Head of the Inpatient Unit of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Service of the Institute of Psychiatry (Hospital das Clínicas, FMUSP) and Coordinator of the Program of Diagnosis and Early Interventions of the Institute of Psychiatry. He is Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Psychiatry, Editor of the European Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and member of the editorial board of the Journal of the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He works in the area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹Childhood and Adolescence Psychiatry.
