Biography
Professor Erhabor Osaro is a Professor of Haematology, Transfusion Medicine and Laboratory Total Quality Management. He received his PhD in Immuno-Haematology from the Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt Nigeria. He is also an Alumni of University of Greenwich in the United Kingdom and Francis Tuttle College of Technology in Oklahoma, USA. Currently, he is working as a visiting Professor in Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria. His experience spans both Africa and Europe. Osaro is on the Science Council of the United Kingdom register as a Chartered Scientist. He is Fellow and an Examiner (Registration Portfolio Verifier) for the Institute of Biomedical Science of London. He is the author of 4 scientific books and 5 chapters of scientific books. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like; Journal of Advances in Medicine, The Scientific World Journal, Journal of Medicine and Medical Research, Bioinfo Publications Journals, Continental Journal of Biomedical Science, Jacobs Journal of Emergency Medicine and Nigerian Biomedical. He is an expert reviewers for several International Scientific Journals including; Journal of AIDS and HIV Research, Journal of Public Health and Epidemiology, African Journal of Microbiology Research, Clinical Reviews and Opinions, African Journal of Medical Laboratory/Diagnosis, Journal of Pediatric Health Medicine/Therapeutics, Journal of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine International, Haematology research and Reviews, Journal of Inflammation Research, Journal of Blood Medicine, Blood Transfusion Journal and International Journal of General Medicine. He recently bagged the Specialist Certificate in Blood Transfusion Science Practice (SCTSP) from the British Blood Transfusion Society UK. He has been successfully in his administrative responsibilities as Head of Department and Departmental Post Graduate Coordinator. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors including the Margaret Kenwright Award from the British Blood Transfusion Society (BBTS). He is the President of Nelon Medical Limited UK.
