Dr. Stephen C. Alder
Biography
Dr. Stephen C. Alder is a Professor of Family and Preventive Medicine and Chief of the Division of Public Health at the University of Utah, USA. He holds Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Environment and Behavior and Family Ecology, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Health Promotion and Education, with an emphasis in Community Health. He is the faculty advisor for Global Health Scholars in the Honors College. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
Research Interest
Dr. Alder’s research interest includes leadership development, integrating clinical care and the health of populations, community engaged approaches to health development, and global public health.
