Biography
Dr. Dennis D. Taub received his Ph.D. in 1991 from the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Temple University School of Medicine. He subsequently joined the laboratory of Joost J. Oppenheim as a staff fellow within the NCI in Frederick, Maryland. From 1994-1997, Dr. Dennis D. Taub headed the vaccine monitoring laboratory within the NCI. In early 1997, he moved to the Laboratory of Immunology at the NIA as Chief of the Clinical Immunology Section and the Acting Chief of the Laboratory of Immunology.
Research Interest
Dr. Dennis D. Taub research interest include biological and molecular mechanisms of acute and chronic inflammation and has recently focused on the role of inflammatory processes in neurodegeneration and neuropathology.
