Biography
 Dr. Domenico Schillaci has received his specialization in Microbiology at University of Palermo (Italy) in 1986. Currently, he is working as lecturer and responsible for the Laboratory of Microbiology and Biological Assay of Department of Biological, Chemical and Pharmaceutical Science and Tech. in University of Palermo (Italy). His research interest is focused on the discovery of new antimicrobial and antibiofilm agents alternative to conventional antibiotics . He is serving as an editorial member of Journal of Microbial and Biochemical Technology and he acted as a reviewer for journals like Biofouling, Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology, Expert Opinion on Ther. Patents, Journal Antimicrobial Chemotherapy, FEMS Immunology and Medical Microb. etc. He has authored fiftyseven research articles. He is a member of Italian Society of General Microbiology and Biotechnology.
Research Interest
 Discovery of new antimicrobial and antibiofilm agents alternative to conventional antibiotics.
