Biography
Dr. Claudia Vellozzi, MD, MPH, is chief of the Prevention Branch in the Division of Viral Hepatitis (DVH) at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In this position Dr. Vellozzi has the lead responsibility for prevention research and program evaluation in DVH which includes testing and linkage to care activities for those with chronic viral hepatitis. She also oversees DVH training and education materials and works closely with state health department viral hepatitis prevention coordinators.
