Biography
 Graduated in Agronomic Engineering (area conc. Biotechnology), University of São Paulo (2001) and Ph.D. in Genetics and Plant Breeding by the Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz (ESALQ / USP) (2006). Made un year sandwich doctorate at the National Institute of Agronomic Research (INRA) in Toulouse, France (2005-06). During the period from 2007 to 2010 was post-doc at the Institute of Applied Science (INSA) in Toulouse, where she developed research in microbiology area applied to fermentation and served as an assistant professor in undergraduate courses in Biochemical Engineering. For 2 years she was post-doctorate at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge MA, USA. Develops projects aimed at the development of a bacterial strain capable of producing isobutanol starting from CO2, H2 and O2. She is currently a fellow Young Talent Attraction - CNPq at the Federal University of Santa Catarina where she develops a project aimed at the production of biopolymers from vinasse using the bacteria Cupriavidus necator. In addition to guiding graduate students. It has experience in microbiology, with emphasis in Molecular Genetics and Microorganisms and fermentation.
