Biography
Mr. Belayneh Kefale Gelaw has received his B.pharm in Wollo University, Ethiopia during the period of July 2011. Currently he is working a research coordinator and academician in Department of Pharmacy, college of medicine and health science in Ambo University, Ethiopia. He has successfully completed his administrative responsibilities as a research coordinator. His research has included identification of plenty of pharmaceutical problems and solutions. Based on this researches and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as best researcher of the year 2015 in college of medicine and health science and certified in second national annual research conference with the theme of science, technology and sustainable development: visioning mid level developed Ethiopia held in Wachemo University, June 5-6, 2015, Hossana, Ethiopia and 34th Annual conference of Ethiopian Pharmaceutical Association held in, Africa Union, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Aug 23-24, 2014. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like; Pyrex journal of pharmacy and pharmacology, Journal of Advanced scientific research (foundation for promotion of basic and applied science) and expert reviewer for different scientific journals. He has authored 36 research articles and 3 books.
Research Interest
Therapeutic drug monitoring, Clinical Pharmacokinetics, pharmaceutical care, Clinical Pharmacology, pharmacotherapeutics, Industrial Pharmacy, pharmaceutical chemistry and promotion. Malnutrition’s and infectious disease, Antibiotics and its resistances, HIV, TB, HIV/CO-INFECTIONS, Nanomedicines in pharmacotherapy of different disease states like cancer, HIV, Hepatitis etc..., Reproductive health focusing on contraceptives and family planning, Outcome researches on DM, and CVDs, Therapeutics of neurologic and psychiatric problems, Herbal drug and their major health outcomes and impact on the effect of other drugs, pharmacoeconomics and pharmacoepidemiology.
