Biography
Dr. Bartira Rossi-Bergmann is biomedical, formed in 1981 from the Faculty of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto - USP. Concluded in 1982 a master's degree at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (England), and in 1987 his doctorate at Brunel University (England) on Immunology leishmaniasis and trypanosomiasis African, respectively. After two years as a visiting researcher at the Oswaldo Cruz Foundation in 1989 he came by public tender in the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro - UFRJ. In 1994, a post-doc at the University of Toronto (Canada) where he researched the feasibility of tolerogenic vaccines in transplants.
