Andrew Elliott
Dr. Andrew Elliott has previously served as an assistant professor at the University of Washington's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He served as director of the consultation and primary care and behavioral health services at Harborview Medical Center. While at the University of Washington he worked with Marsh Linehan, Ph.D. and is trained in dialectical behavior therapy. He is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and a member of the American Psychiatric Association, the Southern California State Psychiatric Association, and the Association of Gay and Lesbian Psychiatrists. Elliott has worked for Riverside County Department of Mental Health since 2005 and worked primarily with homeless mentally ill patients who he has provided both pharmacotherapy and dialectical behavior therapy. He has been training therapists in dialectical behavior therapy at Riverside County Department of Mental Health since 2012. He has practiced in Southern California since 2003 and worked in a variety of settings including private practice, inpatient and community mental health.
