Biography
Dr. Alok Bhutada is the Director of New Born Medicine, Department of Pediatrics, at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Bhutada completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine, followed by a fellowship at Columbia University. He is board-certified in pediatrics, with a subspecialty in Neonatal Perinatal Medicine.Dr. Alok Bhutada has published various articles in neonatology. Dr. Bhutada’s interests include the current trends of non-invasive repertory care, the use of nitric oxide for preterm babies, and therapeutic hyperthermia advancements. As Director of the NICU, he is able to project his vision of clinical care and outcomes. He welcomes the opportunity to influence and educate young physicians, the potential neonatologists in training. Dr. Bhutada, and the dedicated NICU team, is committed to providing the best clinical care possible for all babies. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals. Dr. Alok Bhutada has authored several articles along with chapters in different books related to Pediatrics and Neonatology.
