Biography
Dr, Ajay Gaur is a renowned researcher at the The Centre for Cellular & Molecular Biology-CSIR, India. His areas of research interest are conservation genetics and molecular ecology of Indian endangered species especially, big cats and ungulates. His lab focuses on the development of molecular markers and their application in population and evolutionary genetics and in wildlife forensics. The major efforts are towards the use of non-invasive sampling protocols and development of species - specific DNA markers to look into the genetic structure of existing populations.
