Daniel joined the Kintampo Health Research Centre in October 2006 as a National Service Personnel and was attached to the Mental Health Unit as a Research Assistant to a project entitled "Investigating the prevalence of psychiatric disorders among the elderly and instituting a home-based intervention in rural Ghana" funded by the Ghanaian-Dutch Collaboration for Health Research. Daniel upon impressive performance during the service period was employed in KHRC (Mental Health Unit) and is currently a Research Assistant to Mental Health and Poverty Project, a DFID-funded project in Ghana, South Africa, Zambia and Uganda investigating the links between mental health and poverty.

Research Interest
Daniel would want to develop his Research career in the area of cost-benefit analysis of accessing health care and the cost effectiveness in developing and implementing mental health policies in developing countries.
