Biography
Prof. Andre Venter is working as Prof/Head Clinical Dept(Gr2) at University of the Free State, Bloemfontein, South Africa. His education details is as follows In 1977: He completed M.B.Ch.B. - University of Pretoria 1980: He completed Diploma in Child Health - College of Medicine of South Africa 1984: He completed FCP(Paed) - College of Medicine of South Africa 1986: Registered as Paediatrician with The South African Medical and Dental Council - MP20331 Successfully completed a course on Griffiths Mental Development Scales and registered as an official tester. 1988: He completed M.Med (Paediatrics) - University of the Witwatersrand. Thesis: Congenital Syphilis: A study of the prevalence and epidemiology at Baragwanath Hospital from August 1985 till January 1986. 1991: he percived his PhD in Medical Sciences (Paediatrics) at the University of Alberta, Canada. Thesis: The Organization of Lateralized Hemispheric Functions in Congenital Hemiplegia. 1998: Registered in the subspecialty of Developmental Paediatrics with the South African Medical and Dental Council
