Editorial Note

I am pleased to introduce the Modern Chemistry and Applications (MCA) keen in publishing the latest advancements and innovations in a peer reviewed scientific journal known for rapid dissemination of high-quality research. This Modern chemistry Journal with high impact factor offers an open access platform to the authors in academia and industry to publish their novel research. It serves the International Scientific Community with its standard research publications. The journal focuses on providing most comprehensive and reliable information in advanced areas of chemistry such as organic, inorganic, analytical, physical, material, environmental chemistry etc with emphasis on current trends of computational and forensic chemistry and their applications.. I am pleased to announce that, all issues of the 8th volume were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online during the year of 2019.

Impact Factor

The impact factor for the journal is Journal Impact Factor 1.13*. Impact factor measures the quality of the Journal.

As such, the journal aspires to be vibrant, engaging and accessible, and at the same time integrative and challenging, MCA received a total of more than 190 manuscripts, a total of 110 research scientists from all over the world reviewed the articles published in all volumes. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 2-3 weeks. Average download per article is increasing and on an average there are 50 downloads per paper. All these are promising signs. We could reach this stage through the constant support of Board Members and intellectual generosity of the readers and contributors (authors and reviewers).
