Editorial Note

Dentistry: Open Access (ISSN: 2161-1122), expresses gratitude to all its elite panel of editorial board members for their continuous efforts, support and encouragement throughout the publication journey of the journal and congratulates them for making this journal to achieve its goals and becoming successful as one of the leading and well-recognized presenter of scientific outcomes in the field of Dentistry.

On the behalf of Board of Dentistry: Open Access, I am glad to present the Volume 10, Issue 5 of the journal. The journal established in the year of 2011 and has now published 9 issues and now in the process of soliciting manuscripts for upcoming Volume 10 Issue 6 release. The journal is indexed in Index Copernicus, Google Scholar, Sherpa Romeo, Genamics JournalSeek, JournalTOCs, CiteFactor, Ulrich's Periodicals Directory, RefSeek, Hamdard University, EBSCO A-Z, Directory of Abstract Indexing for Journals, OCLC-WorldCat, Publons, Geneva Foundation for Medical Education and Research. Average download per article is increasing. These are promising signs. We could reach this through constant support of Board Members, readers, authors and reviewers.

Aims and scope

The aim of Dentistry: Open Access journal is to publish up-to-date, high-quality and original research papers alongside relevant and insightful reviews and also to encourage publication from different streams of research that helps to enrich further the discourse on Dentistry. All published articles subjected to the journal’s doubleblind review process, where reviewers do not know the identity of authors and authors do not know the identity of the reviewers.

The scope of Dentistry: Open Access deal is to areas such as Endodontics, Orthodontics, Dental Implants, Prosthodontics, Restorative Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Forensic Dentistry, Digital Dentistry, Minimal Intervention Dentistry.

Manuscript submission and review process

Manuscripts can be submitted through our Online Manuscript Submission System or directly as an attachment to Email id OAdentistry@emedicinejournals.com.

Dentistry: Open Access Journal is using Online Review and Editorial Tracking Systems for quality review process. Authors, Reviewers, Editors will be provided with confidential credentials upon registering at Editorial Tracking System. In Editorial Tracking Systems authors can submit manuscripts and track their progress, reviewers can download the manuscripts and submit their comments for the manuscripts and editors can manage the whole submission/review/revise/publish process.

Role of social media

The social media can play an important role in the spreading of research works with increased visibility, citation and ultimately the impact of published works. We promote published articles to the social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn etc. This will benefit the researcher to increase reputation and attendant career progression.

Statistical analysis

According to the Google Analytics, more than 15000+ readers are visiting to our journal websites for submitting manuscripts, to browse the latest research published on Dentistry. To learn about the ongoing research activities in the field of dentistry readers from the countries United States, Japan, United Kingdom, India, Egypt and Nigeria visit our journal domain.
