Editor Note on Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety

Dear Readers,

I am pleased to mention that during the year 2019, all issues of volume 8 were published online well within the time and the print issues were also brought out and dispatched within 30 days of publishing the issue online.

Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety successfully released issues. The submissions to the journal are subjected to peer-review process by the editorial board members or external subject experts. The complete editorial processing of the manuscript is done through the integrated online editorial manuscript submission and review system for greater transparency and faster article throughout. During 2019 around 50 % articles were by foreign authors. A total of 236 research scientists from India and abroad reviewed the articles published in volume 8. Average publication lag time of an article was further reduced to 6-8 months. I take this opportunity to acknowledge the contribution during the final editing of articles published and the support rendered by the editorial assistant, in bringing out issues of Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety in time.

I would also like to express my gratitude to all the authors, reviewers, the publisher, the advisory and the editorial board of Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug, the office bearers and staff for their support in bringing out yet another volume of Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug and look forward to their unrelenting support to bring out the Volume 9 of Advances in Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug in scheduled time.
