Biography
Dr. Kosta Y. Mumcuoglu is an Associated Professor of Parasitology, Turkey and also an Adjunct Professor of Parasitology at the Cumhuriyet University, Sivas, Turkey. He completed his PhD in the Dept. of Zoology, Basel University, Switzerland. He is serving as an editorial member of PLoS Neglected Tropical Diseases, International Journal of Pest Management, American-Eurasian Journal of Scientific Research, Turkish Journal of Hygiene and Experimental Biology, Turkish Journal of Parasitology, Journal of Clinical, Cosmetic and Investigational Dermatology and ISRN Veterinary Science.
Research Interest
Biology and epidemiology of insects, mites and ticks of medical and veterinary importance. The use of maggots and leeches in the treatment of wounds and transplants.
